If pictures are worth a thousand words, movies are worth millions. As a portal through time and space, film offers the rare opportunity to experience a raw, unfiltered view of events in real time. Where photograghs and written records give us the luxury of stepping into others’ minds, video binds us to their circumstance in a way that no other media can. It’s easy to judge another’s actions when time is not part of the equation, but through a camera’s lens we can feel the immense pressure of a moment’s true weight.
While it’s true DOATEC can’t always have a camera in every room, the footage we have managed to gather can still capture the senses and provide that glimpse of clarity so many of us crave.

Speaking with Annika can be a warm, and welcoming sensation, or a cold somber splash of self-reflection. While others claim her soft-spoken empathy compares with the ocean’s vast depths, you find her somber demeanor evasive and frustrating.
